“One must always be careful of books said Tessa and what is inside them for words have the power to change us” ☆☆☆☆☆5 FULLY STARS☆☆☆☆☆ You can find the full review and about this book on my blogI never thought this could be that goodI had started City of Bones the first book of The Mortal Instruments by the same author but it didn't work for me so I thought this could be the same but I was totally wrongThis was an arta fine peace of artI read it in one dayLiterally couldn't put the book down for a secondEverything is perfect and matches and I really dig the lifestyle of the time before two hundred yearsthe classy outfits and the funny teasing“Only the very weak minded refuse to be influenced by literature and poetry” The plot is beyond goodnessand it has every paranormal creatureThe book is written in third person and who knows me knows that I don't like books in third person but in this one I didn't mind at allIt was perfectly build and the story fits well with characterstheir personality with their actionsthe style of talking with the time book is written inEverything is in the right place“Remember when you tried to convince me to feed a poultry pie to the mallards in the park to see if you could breed a race of cannibal ducks? They ate it too Will reminisced Bloodthirsty little beasts Never trust a duck” I also liked the romance in this bookbecause the book needed it and I'm so glad that the author didn't make it a big deallike the reason of things happening because I'm tired with books where only true love and stuff like this triumphThe bonding between characters was so natural and seemed quite realAnd so you know there is a love triangle“Will looked horrified What kind of monster could possibly hate chocolate?” The only thing that I didn't like much was the vampiresThis is my personal opinion and there is not a single problem in this book with vampiresthey are well described and everything but I don't like these creatures so muchAnd I would liked if vampires were replaced with any other creatureBeside that everything is perfect“It's all right to love someone who doesn't love you back as long as they're worth you loving them As long as they deserve it” I usually talk in my reviews which part of the book was goodbetter and badBut I can't part this oneFrom the first page till the last onemoments never got boring and there were always thrilling and exciting ones“There's plenty of sense in nonsense sometimes if you wish to look for it” The ending was phenomenalAnd there was also a cliff in the epilogueSo I can't wait to read the next book“If no one in the entire world cared about you did you really exist at all?” The story This book is about a girl who travels to London to meet her brotherbut when she arrived there someone else takes her and keeps her as prisonerThere she discovers her special abilities and grows a lot of questions about herselfOne day she is saved from the Dark house from a boy named Will and he sent her to the instituteThere she finds about the Downworldshadowhuntersand other mysterious paranormal thingsAlso she is caught up in a love triangle between two bestfriends The characters TessaI rarely build feeling for charactersany feelingsbut this time Tessa got me hardI really dig herShe is so finesmart and beautiful and the way she does things it's just admirable WillI liked this character for his sense of humorAnd I must say he has a dark past and doesn't want to involve anyone in iteven the people he really cares aboutJemJem is one of those characters you feel sorry aboutI mean he at least deserved his addictionOtherwise he is a person you should look afterQuite a role model“Sometimes when I have to do something I don't want to do I pretend I'm a character from a book It's easier to know what they would do” I highly recommend this book to everyoneEven if you loved or hated The mortal instruments you should read this oneIt's awesomeAnd I really want to see this on screen Pictures from the review are not mine I took them mostly from Google images or Tumblr
